Name the Price: Airplanes

In the 1997 film "The Edge," Anthony Hopkin's character shares this little slice of David Mamet-penned wisdom: "Never feel sorry for a man who owns a plane." The message, of course, is that anybody who owns his or her own aircraft probably has more than enough money to buy happiness, too. That's because flying costs some serious dough. But just how much money is tied up in the world's airplanes?
