In Random Recast, we find new uses for ordinary things. This week: Streamers.
A napkin ring is like an old aunt: Cherished, but usually only seen at holidays. But for more casual parties, this award ribbon-style ring made from streamers is a nice touch. Its paper "medallion" can bear any message that you'd like, but I always stick with an easy "thank you." To make the award ribbons, I followed this tutorial over at Folding Trees. Then, I wrapped a length of streamers around the napkin to create a ring. Next, I attached the award ribbon to the streamer ring using double-stick tape. Very simple.
